The Paediatric or “Children’s” Diabetes Team provides specialist care and support to children and their families in a friendly, relaxed and informative environment, where they can feel confident and secure. The team will enable each child to achieve the best possible control of their diabetes. The Paediatric team are based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

The Children’s Diabetes nurses offer an on call service for urgent enquiries during the following times 08.30-4.30pm Mon- Fri. Call the above switchboard number and ask for the CHILDRENS Diabetes NURSE on call.
