ARE YOU A YOUNG PERSON OR CHILD THAT HAS GOT DIABETES?

Don’t worry there are loads of people out there who want to help you and your family. We have a really friendly team of specialist nurses doctors & dietitians here in Leicester who want to help you make the most of your life and give you support as and when you need it. Don’t forget, we’re here to help you and you and those that care about you!

We hope that you will find our new children’s section on diabetes, friendly, welcoming, fun and exciting but most of all informative.

    CHILDREN’S DIABETES SERVICE

    The Paediatric or “Children’s” Diabetes Team provides specialist care and support to children and their families in a friendly, relaxed and informative environment, where they can feel confident and secure. The team will enable each child to achieve the best possible control of their diabetes. The Paediatric team are based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

    The Children’s Diabetes Team Consist of a multitude of diabetes specialist, including, paediatric Dietitians. Click on the link to see who we are.

    The Children’s Diabetes nurses offer an on call service for urgent enquiries during the following times 08.30-4.30pm Mon- Fri.
    Call the above switchboard number and ask for the CHILDRENS Diabetes NURSE on call.

    If you are member of the family needing help outside these hours
